Japanese Light Cheesecake

This is my 2nd try on cheesecake! The outlook is not vv nice even tho it is not "botak" like my previous try! Haahaa...

Rem my previous mistake on using a loose based baking tin but FORGOT to wrap aluminium foil below (silly me!), this time I used a covered based baking tin & line with greaseproof baking sheet so easier for me to remove the cake out! But the sides dun looks too nice liao!

Fluffier huh? Heh heh... See the holes? Opps, looks like chiffon or not? As compare to the previous cake, guess this cakew is slightly better a bit! Waiting for comments from dh!!! Will update again when rec'd comments!!! Haahaa!

UPDATE: Dh's comment is still SOUR! Funny leh... think his taste bud got problem leh!!!! Haahaa... Another thing, he mentioned is: It will taste better if the cake is softer! AGAIN! Hiazzz... Guess I should try again, again & again!!!

This is what I had baked yesterday afternoon! Japanese light cheesecake or cotton cheesecake! Sorry abt the disgraceful top as I "flipped" up n down to remove the cake out from the cake tin so it became "botak" after the flip.

This is closed-up view of the cheesecake! Looks vv thick n dense huh!

Well, it certainly dun taste cottony! sob sob! Comment by dh was the cake is vv sour! Maybe added too much lemon juice? Guess I had to reduce the juice for the next try!

Sneak Peak on the cheesecake when still baking in oven:
Btw, made a "serious" mistake! I used a loose base cake tin but forgot to wrap it w aluminium foil coz need to do "water bath" when baking! LUCKY, water did not sip in... as u can see that the water is not cloudy! Phew!!! Anyway, cake still come out lousy lah!
